Introduction
Zhang Houliang, of the Miao ethnic group, was born in August 1954 and is a member of the Communist Party of China. He currently serves as the Executive Vice President of the Qiandongnan Prefecture Association of Elderly Science and Technology, Executive Vice President of the Qiandongnan Prefecture Miao Society, Director of the Miao Medicine Research and Development Base of the Qiandongnan Prefecture Academy of Sciences, Chairman of Guizhou Miao Jutang Biotechnology Co., Ltd., a member of the Expert Committee of the Guizhou Provincial Health Technology Association, and a Miao medicine expert in the National Think Tank Talent Pool.
Theoretical Achievements
For a long time, Zhang Houliang has meticulously studied Miao medical theory and conducted research and development in Miao medicine. He has published over 20 research papers and investigation reports on Miao medicine in journals such as "Asia-Pacific Traditional Medicine," "Science and Technology Daily," "China Traditional Chinese Medicine News," "Guizhou Daily," and "Guizhou Development Research." Two investigation reports published between 2012 and 2013 won the highest award for investigation reports from "Guizhou Development Research." The work "Research on the Development of Guizhou Miao Medicine Industry and Health Industry" written by Zhang Houliang was submitted as advice to the provincial science and technology association for review by the leaders of the provincial party committee and government. He also organized research and completed the compilation of works such as "Miao Medicine," "Complete Works of Chinese Miao Medicine," "Basic Theories of Miao Medicine," "Distribution and Application of Miao Medicinal Resources in Qiandongnan Prefecture," and "Ethnic Culture Series of Qiandongnan Prefecture" (Miao Medicine Volume).
Future Direction
In the field of Miao medicine research, Zhang Houliang has rich practical research experience and a strong theoretical knowledge reserve, achieving clear therapeutic effects and making certain breakthroughs. He has been dedicated to the research and development of Miao medicine, which aligns with San Caotang's R&D philosophy. In the future, we will work together to innovate and upgrade "Miao Jiu Yi," seeking breakthroughs for Miao medicine in health and wellness products, creating high-tech innovative Miao medicine care products to bring a new experience to the public.
