The fifteenth day of the eighth month in the lunar calendar is the traditional Chinese festival - the Mid-Autumn Festival. From ancient times to the present, the bright full moon hanging high in the sky carries the weight of reunion and expresses deep longing for reuniting.
Every Mid-Autumn Festival, many Miao people gather in the mountains of Guizhou to "dance under the moon and sing songs." The Miao people from all over the world return one after another; they catch fish, fight bulls, and tease birds; they parade in festive attire, singing and dancing; they hold grand banquets, expressing the essence of "high mountains and flowing water" in the Miao way.
Under the moonlight, shadows form pairs, joyful words celebrate reunion. The ordinary smoke and fire of human life warm the hearts of common people.

On the eve of this year's Mid-Autumn Festival, the COVID-19 pandemic struck, sweeping through Guizhou. Under static orders in various districts of Guiyang, the transportation hub of Guizhou, strict prevention measures were implemented. Guizhou entered a state of pandemic control, and various places advocated for celebrating the Mid-Autumn Festival locally, with reunions postponed. The Mid-Autumn Festival is slightly cool, wanderers have not returned, and autumn worries hang heavy on the mind. Earthquakes ravaged, countless families in Luding, Sichuan, were shattered, separated by life and death, alone and desolate.
In the face of disaster, help comes from all directions. Medical personnel from various places bravely entered the strict epidemic areas of Guiyang, and nearly ten thousand volunteers fought on the front lines of the earthquake. They gave up their own family reunion day to fulfill the reunion dreams of countless families.
Though the light is faint, it can become a torch. We hope for a safe return, to reunite together for the next gathering.

In the places where help is needed, some are silently praying for everyone, and some are doing their best, working diligently in their respective fields with sincere hearts, hoping to change the current situation with professional results in specific areas and help more people.
In its early stages, San Caotang is tirelessly working on the excavation and development of Miao medicine, attempting to research and analyze more Miao medicines, understanding their efficacy in the field. With the aim of benefiting others, San Caotang will surely use its professional results to help solve more social issues in the future.
The Mid-Autumn moon is full, yet people are not. Together we admire the full moon, sending our thoughts to the bright moon. We long to return, to return to our original intentions.
